Thursday, September 11, 2008 - Longbow 2008 Version 1.0.5 Released
MDESystems are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of the Longbow 2008 product.
The latest release includes some minor bug fixes that needed addressing before the next major release that is planned for late 2008 plus a few useful additions.
Customers who have either purchased or who are currently using the trial version should upgrade as soon as possible.
If you have already got a copy of Longbow 2008 installed, you only need to download the smaller Upgrade installer file (approx 5MB). Those people who have not yet downloaded a copy of the Trial version of Longbow 2008 will need to download the full installer (approx 80MB). Both these installer files can be accessed from our downloads page.

Friday, August 29, 2008 - Longbow 2008 - Trial Version Bug Fix.
We have been notified of a critical bug in the most recent release (1.0.4) of the Trial Version of Longbow 2008. This bug causes Longbow 2008 to crash when you attempt to view recordsheets and also when the sql scripts run.
After an investigation, it has been found that;
- The bug is isolated to the Trial Version and does not affect any other edition of Longbow 2008.
- Although this bug prevents the user from viewing recordsheets, it does not cause any loss of data.
The bug in question has now been fixed and we would advise anyone currently using the trial version of the software to download the latest installer from our downloads page.
Please note that once the new installer has been downloaded and the update installed, the actual version of Longbow 2008 will not change. This is because the bug was generated during code protection rather than being an inherent floor in the software.
This issue does not affect any other version of the product and is isolated to the Trial Version.
Tuesday, August 12, 2008 - Longbow 2008 Version 1.0.4 Released
MDESystems are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of the Longbow 2008 product. The latest release includes both bug fixes and new functionality that includes the new PDA Data Import facility that is to be supported by Bow Buddy.
We strongly advise all customers who have either purchased or who are currently using the trial version to upgrade as soon as possible.

Thursday, June 26, 2008 - Bow Buddy to support Longbow 2008
MDESystems are pleased to announce that BowBuddy will be supporting Longbow 2008s PDA Scoresheet import facility in their next release.
As a result of this collaboration, MDESystems will no longer be creating a PDA solution. MDESystems will concentrate all development efforts on Longbow 2008 and also the integration of Longbow 2008 into a Club Website solution that is also currently under development.
Monday, May 19, 2008 - Longbow 2008 Released
