My Records - General Tab

The screen shown below is the General Tab on the My Archers Dialog.

The general tab on the 'My Records' dialog enables you to enter the vast majority of the details that relate to a recordsheet. This includes the date the round was shot, who shot it and the scores that they achieved.

There are a number of configuration settings available to you that relate to the creation of recordsheets and this can be set through the Options dialog.  These settings include;

• Record only the total score rather than scores for each distance.
• Set a default venue.
• Set default bowstyles for each discipline.

Each of these configurations can help to speed up the data entry aspect of record keeping.

Once a recordsheet has been saved, or deleted the following checks will automatically check for the following;

• Has the archers handicap changed?.
• Where the archer belongs to a club, have they broken any club records?

Recordsheets do not have to be entered in chronological order and because of this, everytime a recordsheet is entered or deleted, the system will perform knock on calculations for any subsequent recordsheet, club record, end of season review that are already held within the system.

'Suggest and Append' is available on all the drop downs which yet again decreases the time taken to enter records into the system.
