My Archers - Handicaps Tab

The screen shown below is the Handicaps Tab on the My Archers Dialog.

The handicaps tab on the My Archers dialog enables you to set starting points in the system for archers that have a current handicap.

You can also view the results of the End Of Season Reviews and an archers current handicap for a specified discipline and bowstyle using the options in this tab.

Longbow 2008 allows an archer to hold a handicap for each and every bowstyle that they can shoot.

If an archer is starting from scratch, there is no need to enter any details in this tab because all the handicaps and end of season reviews will be calculated automatically.

If an archer has been shooting for a number of years, rather than having to enter every single round they have every shot, you can set a starting point for all subsequent calculations using the facilities on this screen.

Personal bests can be entered without effecting any subsequent handicap calculations by ensuring that the date shot is prior to the handicap starting point you enter and entered as such when you create the recordsheet entry using the My Records facility.
